Copkiller (1983)

A pair of corrupt cops spend their illegal cash on an uptown New York City apartment.

From memory: Fast-paced and quite exciting left-field thriller with a surprisingly convincing performance by John Lydon and Harvey Keitel at his best.

Halliwell (no star): "A curiosity, with its duel between Keitel's violent cop, obsessive about order, and the overmatched Lydon..., as an anarchic fantasist; there are vague echoes of the far superior Performance amid the wallowing in guilt and suffering."

Maltin***: "Intriguing, entertaining psychological thriller...Fine performances..."
