A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (1973)

Peppermint Patty invites herself and her friends over to Charlie Brown's for Thanksgiving, and with Linus, Snoopy, and Woodstock, he attempts to throw together a Thanksgiving dinner.

Nicely assembled Peanuts holiday special short movie celebrates Thanksgiving in a mildly amusing manner.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966)

The Peanuts gang celebrates Halloween while Linus waits for the Great Pumpkin.

Probably the best of the Peanuts TV specials and meanwhile a Halloween season classic; story, plot and animation perfectly handled.

On renewed viewing: still love to watch this one every Halloween.

Race for Your Life, Charlie Brown (1977)

The Peanuts gang goes to summer camp, and they participate in a river-raft race against some cheating bullies.

Likable, lively and quite harmless family entertainment.

Maltin**: "Mildly entertaining, but lacks punch."

Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (and Don't Come Back!!) (1980)

Charlie Brown and his friends travel to Europe as exchange students.

Relaxed, likable, but unspectacular animated peanuts movie; doesn't quite have the magic of earlier adaptations.

Maltin***: "Cute animated entertainment for Peanuts devotees."
