Infinite (2021)

A man discovers that his hallucinations are actually visions from past lives.

Highly derivative and uninspired hodgepodge of much better sci-fi and spy movies offers a lot of action and CGI, but never really thrills.

The Equalizer (2014)

A man believes he has put his mysterious past behind him and has dedicated himself to beginning a new, quiet life. But when he meets a young girl under the control of ultra-violent Russian gangsters, he can't stand idly by - he has to help her.

Violent vigilante thriller has style ans suspense, and Denzel Washington can really pull off his role as righteous avenger, but all that said, it's still a dubious genre.

Olympus Has Fallen (2013)

A disgraced former Presidential guard finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack; using his inside knowledge, he works with national security to rescue the President from his kidnappers.

The similarities to White House Down are amazing, and this action thriller is just as silly, but by far not as much fun.

Maltin**1/2: "Nonstop action is the order of the day in this disaster film...The story is far-fetched and some of the characters deeply stereotyped but Fuqua keeps it all moving along; if you don't care about credibility it's reasonably entertaining, mindless fun."
