A drug dealer tries to kill his partner's daughter, when she inherits an old house. 

Above-average crime mystery is nicely staged and has a good cast; a bit old-fashioned, though.  

Mantrap (1953)

 

 

A wrongly convicted murderer escapes prison to find the real killer. 

 

OK, but standard crime mystery with a Noir touch and some good b/w cinematography.

A mute servant girl bears a child on Christmas day after being raped by a bestial madman and first shows itself at the infant's christening, whereupon the holy water begins to boil.

While mainland Britain shivers in deepest winter, the northern island of Fara bakes in the nineties.

 

Quite tedious sci-fi yarn with a laughable story (and likewise are the aliens); quite a waste for the two stars in the cast.

Baron Frankenstein, together with a young doctor and his fiancée, kidnap a mentally sick doctor to perform the first brain transplantation ever.

Sherlock Holmes und das Halsband des Todes (1962)

Sherlock Holmes and Watson do battle with their nemesis, Professor Moriarity, over an ancient necklace attributed to Cleopatra.

Antiquated Sherlock Holmes crime story doesn't thrill much, but has some moments of slight humour.

Vampire hunter Van Helsing returns to Transylvania to destroy handsome bloodsucker Baron Meinster, who has designs on beautiful young schoolteacher Marianne.
