Run, Cougar, Run (1972)

 

In Utah, the idyllic existence of a mountain lion family is threatened when tourists, bent on sport-hunting cougars, make their appearance.

From memory: Standard Disney family entertainment with an agreeable, but otherwise harmless environmental stance.

 

 

Bunco Squad (1950)

A detective goes after a ring of phony "mediums" who are trying to swindle a rich widow out of her fortune.

Lively, entertaining crime drama is simple, but straightforward and suspenseful. 

Maltin**1/2: "Fast-paced B movie isn't bad."

Lady in the Death House (1944)

A young woman is on death row for the murder of a man who was blackmailing her family, although she claims she was framed.

Likable, but highly unconvincing low-budget drama is gloomy and well-played, but otherwise unremarkable.
