Momentum (2015)

4 criminals steal diamonds from a safe deposit box in Cape Town - including a drive containing a US senator's evil plans who will do anything to get it back.

Standard conspiracy actioner is predictable and only mildly entertaining, despite a capable cast.

High-Rise (2015)

Life for the residents of a tower block begins to run out of control.

A J.G. Ballard adaptation that offers lots of goods: cast, visual execellence and some memorable, scenes; but it doesn't quite manage to translate the novel's stringent logic of a society drifting into chaos.

Ironclad (2011)

In 13th-century England, a small group of Knights Templar fight to defend Rochester Castle against the tyrannical King John.

English history on a schoolboy level: lots of sworld-weilding action, a wee bit of romance and the evil English King as caricature; one would suggest to introduce a new rating "not suitable for an audience above a certain age".

Maltin*1/2: "Potentially provocative historical epic wallows in one-dimensional theatrics, cornball dialogue, and in-your-face gore."
