Moonrise (1948)

 

Danny is despised by his schoolmates because his father was accused of killing another man and sentenced to death. 

Superior Noir melodrama is beautifully made and photographed and takes its dark, seemingly hopeless tale to a tense finale.

The Big Clock (1948)

A career oriented magazine editor finds himself on the run when he discovers his boss is framing him for murder.

Superior Noir thriller with a wonderful cast, some great settings and excellent b/w photography.
