Deadpool (2016)

A wisecracking mercenary gets experimented on and becomes immortal but ugly, and sets out to track down the man who ruined his looks.

Satirical superhero actioner is well-made for its purpose,  but in deliberately bad taste and with hit-and-miss humor.

Tiger House (2015)

A young woman sneaks into her boyfriend's house to share some bad news, but their conversation is cut short when a gang of armed thieves break in and take the family hostage.

OK thriller staged mainly with the confines of one house - and  Kaya Scodelario wins as the sole hero of the show.

Tau (2018)

A woman is held captive by a scientist in a futuristic smart house, and hopes to escape by reasoning with the Artificial Intelligence that controls the house.

An interesting premise gets an unimaginative treatment, especially missing in character development, and the discourse with the Artificial Intelligence lacks credibility.
