White Pongo (1945)

Hunters and scientists venture into the jungle to track down a savage albino gorilla, which they believe could be the missing link between man and ape.

Ridiculous Poverty Row jungle adventure may be a feast for bad movie fans, but its so full of inadequacies (bad acting, bad effects, gorillas obviously played by men in bad costumes) it's hard to watch; on top of that, there are also quite a few unbearably racist elements in the narrative.

Dead Men Walk (1943)

The twin of a kindly small-town physician returns from the grave for vengeance against his brother, who secretly killed him because the twin served Satan.

Pretty bad low-budget horror movies is mainly risible, but entertainingly so.

Halliwell (no star): "Incompetent chiller partly sustained by its star performance."

Maltin**: "...standard low-budget vampire tale - but it's hard to dismiss any film with Dwight Frye as a maniacal assistant."
