Astronauts returning from a voyage to Mars are caught in a time warp and are propelled into a post-Apocalyptic Earth populated by mutants.

Mediocre, but mildy entertaining sci-fi yarn; lots of laughable moments,  the audacity to 'civilize' a 500 years advanced society with 50s machismo included.

Halliwell (no star): "Reasonably lively sci-fi with horror elements, and a plot borrowed from H.G. Wells."

Maltin**1/2: "Pretty good sci-fi owes more than a little to H.G. Wells' The Time Machine."

36 Hours (1964)

Germans kidnap an American major and try to convince him that World War II is over, so that they can get details about the Allied invasion of Europe out of him
