The Fall, Season 3 (2016)

Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson has arrested Paul Spector - but will he survive the gunshot wounds? Will he ever face justice?

The third season concludes the series in likewise excellent quality in atmosphere, production and performances and simply goes a bit more into depth on its characters; however, the actual ending is unexpected and rather illogical to what we have learnt so far.

The Fall, Season 2 (2014)

DSI Gibson must draw closer to identify and track down Belfast's serial killer as he realises that someone from his past has been helping the police with their enquiries. Spector is forced to change his plans with terrifying consequences.

The second season continues in the same good quality as the first, but moves very slowly to the missing conclusion of the latter, more concerned about the psychological aspects of the plot than the criminal investigation.

The Fall, Season 1 (2013)

A seemingly cold but very passionate policewoman goes head to head with a seemingly passionate father who is in fact a cold serialist in this procedural out of Belfast.

Compelling crime drama with great atmosphere and extraordinary performances creates suspense, but this first season very disappointingly ends in mid-air, although the conclusion is clearly at hand.

Anthropoid (2016)

Based on the extraordinary true story of Operation Anthropoid, the WWII mission to assassinate SS General Reinhard Heydrich, the main architect behind the Final Solution and the Reich's third in command after Hitler and Himmler.

Subtle, but also quite suspenseful reconstruction of a historic occurence is not only focussed on the details of the assassiantion, but also is interested in the motives of its protagonists.
