Love at First Bite (1979)
Count Dracula moves to New York to find his Bride, after having been evicted out of his Transylvanian castle.
From memory: Amusing and likable Dracula spoof for those who like to laugh at their favourite vampire.
Halliwell*: "Energetic spoof, with jokes on the sexy side; good work all around."
Maltin***: "Silly but likable comedy...Hamilton's comic performance is bloody good."

Mermaids (1990)
An unconventional single mother relocates with her two daughters to a small Massachusetts town in 1963, where a number of events and relationships both challenge and strengthen their familial bonds.
Erratic comedy-drama doesn't really go anywhere, but entertains with a great lively ensemble and some good scenes.
Halliwell (no star): "A romantic comedy uncertain whether it is trying for laughs or tears; it attempts, unsuccessfully, to settle for both."
Maltin***: "Lively mix of comedy and drama...Funny and affecting, with a standout performance by Ryder..."

Westworld (1973)
A robot malfunction creates havoc and terror for unsuspecting vacationers at a futuristic, adult-themed amusement park.
Simple, but effective sci-fi thriller with a decidedly anti-consumerist and skeptical stance concerning future development.
Halliwell**: "Unusual and amusing but under-produced melodrama with slipshod story development and continuity, atoned for by memorable moments and underlying excitement."
Maltin***: "Engaging story..."
Michael Weldon/Psychotronic: "Yul Brynner is great in a silent role...Richard Benjamin and James Brolin aren't so great in speaking roles..."
