The Invitation (2015)



A man accepts an invitation to a dinner party hosted by his ex-wife, an unsettling affair that reopens old wounds and creates new tensions.

Tension is built slowly from a very simple premise, but cast and direction make this an intriguing, suspenseful experience with a surprising climax and ending.

Rabbit Hole (2010)



Life for a happy couple is turned upside down after their young son dies in an accident.

Simple, but not too remarkable tale about loss and grief; the good cast makes it worth the watch.
