The Legend of Zorro (2005)

Despite trying to keep his swashbuckling to a minimum, a threat to California's pending statehood causes the adventure-loving Alejandro de la Vega-- and his wife, Elena -- to take action.

Old-fashioned and amazingly entertaining swashbuckling adventure.

Maltin**1/2: "Escapism with a capital E, made with a family audience in mind, full to overflowing with grandiose action and stunts...but like the first film, there's too much of everything. The charismatic stars do their best to combat a plot-heavy script."
