From Time to Time (2009)
When 13 year old boy finds he can mysteriously travel between two worlds, he begins an adventure that unlocks family secrets laid buried for generations.
Harmless, but nicely produced period piece (depicting two different English periods) has a clear message against class conceit and racism.

The Raven (2012)
When a madman begins committing horrific murders inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's works, a young Baltimore detective joins forces with Poe to stop him from making his stories a reality.
Nice premise is watchable as a nicely produced period piece with a not too exciting, but breathlessly staged whodunnit; a straight Poe adaptation would have been preferable.
Maltin**: "Contrived mix of fact and fiction is fitfully intriguing but conspicuously lacking in suspense. Cusack's wild-eyed ranting is neatly balanced by Evans' authoritative underplaying."
Une jeunesse allemande (2015)
Film based on the rise of The Red Army Faction, German revolutionary terrorist group founded by Andreas Baader and Ulrike Meinhof.
This documentary is basically a collage of an abundance of original source material, all quite fascinating, but makes it appear quite undecided - and its focus on Ulrike Meinhof is inexplicable.
