Enemy (2013)
A man seeks out his exact look-alike after spotting him in a movie.
Somnambulant psychological drama conceived as one large riddle fascinates as a complex mystery, but the surprise end scene is grafted and quite a letdown.
Maltin**: "Ponderous psychological thriller...Strange, off-putting story, told in hushed tones, invites comparison to David Lynch's dreamlike films."

Survivor (2014)
During their search for a habitable planet the last living humans crash-land on a barren world, inhabited by bloodthirsty aliens and mysterious post-apocalyptic warriors.
Below-standard sci-fi action adventure with a silly and unoriginal plot, lots of hand-to-hand fighting action with aliens and hardly anything more than that.

Arrival (2016)
When twelve mysterious spacecraft appear around the world, linguistics professor Louise Banks is tasked with interpreting the language of the apparent alien visitors.
Satisfyingly intelligent sci-fi drama with great production and a good cast of characters emphasizes the science aspect (linguistics) and avoids which otherwise would have been another alien invasion and even offers some food for thought.
